Pioneer CDJ-100S CD player
The Pioneer CDJ-100S is important for mixing tracks and bringing your creations to life.
It's a great tool for learning, training, experimenting and performing live!
The Pioneer CDJ-100S is par excellence the ancestor of all DJ CD players.
It was marketed by Pioneer and still resists the blows of time, managing to compete with more technologically advanced machines. To the eye it looks like an essential CD player without too many frills, excellent for those who are approaching the world of DJing and for those who have no special needs (loops, effects, scratches etc ...); to the classic (and essential) keys for searching the / in the track, Play and Cue we find three selectable effects, the autocue, the relay play and the master tempo.
The insertion of the CD takes place via a slide loader, that is, it is slid into the unit (a bit like CDs in the stereo for the car), loading is fast, in about a second you are immediately ready to play the first song.
You can work "on" the disc through the very precise Jog Wheel located just above the slide loader; turning it counterclockwise slows down the song and vice versa increases its speed. Given its precision, quarter turns are enough to adjust the time, no 360 ° rotations are required; once the synchrony between the tracks to be mixed has been found, the Pitch control can be used to permanently increase or decrease the speed.
The Pitch, like the Jog, has a millimeter precision being adjusted to ± 10%, with slight shifts you can find the right time without making the cursor make the complete stroke.
This "used" is in excellent condition, the only detail is the cue button which when pressed (at the moment of the "click") makes no noise but is fully functional!
A tool that is always a pleasure to use, that has made history and continues to be current, do not miss it!
